Hands & Draws

A connected board contains ranks close enough together to create several straight possibilities or straight draws. The degree of connection depends on the actual ranks. Connected boards can give drawing hands more ways to improve.

Example of Connected Board:
A 9-8-7 flop is strongly connected. A player holding J-10 has a straight, while 6-5 also makes a straight.
