A delayed continuation bet is a bet on a later street by the previous aggressor after declining to continuation-bet on an earlier street. Most commonly, the preflop raiser checks the flop and bets the turn.
Example of Delayed Continuation Bet:
You raise preflop and the big blind calls. Both players check the flop. After the big blind checks the turn, you bet, making a delayed continuation bet.
