Strategy

A cold four-bet is a four-bet made by a player who has not yet voluntarily invested in the pot. It follows an open-raise and a three-bet by other players. Posting a blind does not count as voluntary investment for this description.

Example of Cold Four-Bet:
The cutoff raises to $6 and the button three-bets to $20. You are in the small blind and raise to $55, making a cold four-bet.
