Blind defense is continuing from the small or big blind against a preflop raise by calling or reraising. A blind already posted affects the price, but does not justify playing every hand. Position and the opener's range remain important.
Example of Blind Defense:
The button raises to 2.5 big blinds. You call from the big blind with 8-7 suited, defending your blind.
