Tom Fuchs has won the €100,000 Super High Roller at EPT Barcelona, defeating two-time champion Kayhan Mokri heads-up to collect €1,126,540.
The German controlled much of the tournament and eventually overcame a 27-entry field containing some of the biggest names in high-stakes poker.
Mokri was attempting to achieve something nobody had managed before. The Norwegian won the same tournament in both 2023 and 2024 and came within one opponent of claiming the Barcelona title for a third time.
Fuchs had other plans.
The 28-year-old completed a wire-to-wire final day to secure the second seven-figure tournament score of his career and his first outright victory at a PokerStars-sponsored event.
Fuchs Leads €100K Super High Roller From the Front
The €100,000 buy-in attracted 27 entries, including eight re-entries, creating a €2,619,540 prize pool.
Only four players were paid.
Fuchs had already established himself as the player to catch by the end of the opening day and maintained his position as the tournament moved toward its conclusion.
Several established high rollers failed to reach the money.
Fedor Holz, David Coleman, Klemens Roiter, Sam Mullur and Jean-Noel Thorel were among those eliminated before the payouts, while Enrico Camosci became the unfortunate bubble finisher in fifth.
Roiter had already enjoyed a successful Barcelona festival after winning an earlier €25,000 event. Poker Type covered his victory alongside Brock Wilson’s €20,000 EPT Barcelona High Roller win.
The Barcelona series has produced major fields outside the Super High Roller too. Elias Suhonen’s €10K victory came as the PokerStars Open Main Event attracted 4,333 entries, underlining the scale of this year’s festival.
This time, however, Fuchs was the player who survived the biggest buy-in field.
Jamie Dwan Continues Impressive Barcelona Run
Jamie Dwan took third place for €472,000.
The British player has quietly put together an excellent series of results at Casino Barcelona.
Dwan had already finished fifth in the €20,000 High Roller for €58,360 and fourth in the €25,000 High Roller for €107,700 before making another deep run in the biggest buy-in event of the festival so far.
Byron Kaverman completed the four paid positions, collecting €314,000.

Mokri Falls One Match Short of Barcelona History
For Mokri, second place brought another enormous payday but denied him an extraordinary third victory in the tournament.
He first won the EPT Barcelona €100,000 Super High Roller in 2023 and successfully defended the title a year later.
Returning in 2026 gave him the opportunity to become the first player to win the event three times.
Mokri reached heads-up play but could not overcome Fuchs, eventually settling for €707,000.
His runner-up finish came only days after another cash at the festival, when he took sixth in the €25,000 event won by Roiter.
Another Seven-Figure Score for Tom Fuchs
Fuchs has become an increasingly familiar presence in elite high roller fields.
His breakthrough result came at WSOP Paradise in 2024, where he won the $50,000 No-Limit Hold’em High Roller for $1.292 million and his first World Series of Poker bracelet.
Since then he has produced major results across the Triton Poker, WSOP and EPT circuits.
Earlier this year, Fuchs finished eighth in the $100,000 Triton Jeju Main Event for $464,000 and ninth in the €100,000 High Roller for One Drop at EPT Monte Carlo for €228,000.
Barcelona now gives him another seven-figure result and one of the biggest titles of his career.
The victory continues a busy opening week at EPT Barcelona. Han Feng had already reached the final eight of the 4,333-entry PokerStars Open, while Wilson and Roiter collected high roller trophies earlier in the festival.
Attention now moves toward the €5,300 EPT Main Event as the Barcelona festival continues through August 29.
