Alex Anton has added a Triton Poker title to his rapidly growing 2026 résumé. The 25-year-old American won the $30,000 No-Limit Hold’em Turbo at Triton Jeju II, defeating Artur Martirosian heads-up for $577,000.
The tournament attracted 70 entries and created a $2.1 million prize pool. It is Anton’s first Triton title and the second-largest recorded tournament cash of his career.
His biggest score came only three months ago. Anton won the $10,000 Mystery Bounty at the 2026 WSOP for $678,300, earning his first WSOP bracelet.
Now he has a Triton trophy too.
Anton Adds Triton Title to Breakout 2026
Anton entered 2026 without a WSOP bracelet or Triton title. He now has both.
His victory in Jeju takes his recorded live tournament earnings beyond $3 million. More than $1.25 million of that total has come from his two biggest wins this year.
Anton was relaxed after winning such a fast-moving tournament.
“It was really silly,” he told Triton after the victory. “It was fun, but we were just flipping for a lot of money.”
The turbo structure ensured plenty of those flips came against elite opposition. Triton Jeju II has brought many of poker’s leading high-stakes players back to South Korea.
Anton had to beat several of them.
Chidwick Leads a Stacked Final Table
Only 11 players shared the $2.1 million prize pool. Ren Lin finished on the bubble, while Daniel Rezaei and Jesse Lonis collected $52,000 each.
Stephen Chidwick began the final table as chip leader. Anton was third in chips.
Mingcong Chen finished ninth for $60,000 before Winfred Yu followed in eighth for $79,000. That left seven players guaranteed at least $101,000.
Mikita Badziakouski was the first to reach six figures. He lost a race with pocket fours against Martirosian’s A♦K♣ and collected $101,000.
Byron Kaverman also exited with pocket fours. Martirosian eliminated him with 10♣6♣, sending Kaverman out in sixth for $128,000.
Martirosian Sends Mateos Home
Adrian Mateos was next to face Martirosian. Mateos held A♠J♥ against Q♦9♥ and was ahead when the chips went in.
A nine on the turn changed that.
Mateos finished fifth for $164,000. That left Chidwick, Anton, Martirosian and Alisson Piekazewicz.
Chidwick had already enjoyed another huge week in Jeju. Poker Type reported earlier this week that Stephen Chidwick passed $80 million in recorded live tournament winnings.
His latest run added another $207,000.
Anton Knocks Out Stephen Chidwick
Anton held J♠4♣ against Chidwick’s 10♦6♣. Neither player improved enough to change the outcome, so Anton’s jack-high held.
Chidwick finished fourth.

For Anton, Chidwick’s elimination moved him one step closer to his first Triton title.
Piekazewicz Falls in Third
Anton then won a large pot against Piekazewicz with a set of aces. The Brazilian was left with very few chips, and Martirosian completed the elimination.
Piekazewicz finished third for $269,000.
That left Anton and Martirosian heads-up. Martirosian began with a narrow chip advantage, but Anton soon moved ahead.
The lead did not last.
Martirosian doubled with A-J against Anton’s suited 8-4 to bring the stacks close again. More all-ins followed before Anton finally found the one that ended it.
King-Six Wins Anton His First Triton Trophy
Anton held K♥6♠ in the final hand. Martirosian had 5♥3♥.
Anton paired his king and Martirosian could not recover.
The tournament was over.
Martirosian collected $411,000 for second place. Anton took the trophy and $577,000.
It was his third tournament title of 2026 and his seventh final table of the year.

From First Bracelet to First Triton Title
Anton’s rise has accelerated quickly. His WSOP breakthrough came in June, when he won the $10,000 Mystery Bounty for $678,300.
It was his first bracelet. Now another milestone has arrived in Jeju.
A Triton title carries a different type of prestige. The fields are smaller, the buy-ins are huge and the opposition is routinely world class. Anton has now proved he can win in that environment too.
At 25, his biggest tournament achievements have arrived within a few months of each other.
