If you still have money sitting in your old PokerStars UK account, put the next session on hold for five minutes and check the cashier.

Wednesday 4 November 2026 is the date PokerStars gives for the end of cashier access following the move to Betfair.
The immediate task is for players who already had an active Betfair account and still have a separate PokerStars balance to withdraw. Missing the date does not mean losing that balance: you will need PokerStars Customer Support to arrange the withdrawal afterwards.
What closes on 4 November?
In its migration FAQ, PokerStars states:
“The cashier section of your PokerStars account will remain available until November 4, 2026.”
The FAQ gives no precise shutdown time or time zone. Treat this as an admin job for today, Tuesday 3 November, rather than trying to squeeze a withdrawal through at the last minute tomorrow.
UK gameplay moved to PokerStars on Betfair on 7 October. This deadline concerns access to the old cashier, rather than the end of PokerStars games for UK players. Our coverage of the PokerStars UK move to Betfair explains the background.
Which account situation applies to you?
The migration took different routes depending on whether you already used Betfair. Work out which row applies before assuming your bankroll has moved automatically.
| Your situation | What to check |
|---|---|
| You already had an active Betfair account | Withdraw remaining PokerStars funds through the old cashier while available. Use your existing Betfair account to play. |
| Your PokerStars UK account transferred to Betfair | Betfair says the balance moved with it. Check the transferred account and review the terms before playing. |
| You do not want to accept Betfair’s terms | You can ask customer support to withdraw the remaining PokerStars balance. |
| The old cashier is no longer accessible | Contact PokerStars Customer Support for the remaining withdrawal. |
Check tickets and T-Money as well as cash
For players who already had an active Betfair account, PokerStars says unused tournament tickets and T-Money were converted to withdrawable cash. Existing tournament entries were cancelled and buy-ins refunded. Players whose accounts transferred instead retain tickets, T-Money and registrations after logging in and accepting the terms.
That makes a proper balance check worthwhile even if you remember leaving very little cash behind. Compare what you see with your own records, including satellite prizes and any tournaments you had registered for before the move. Flag an unexplained difference with support rather than guessing what a missing ticket was worth.
Your five-minute bankroll checklist
Do this before opening tables, when you can give the numbers your full attention. These are practical record-keeping steps, rather than additional requirements imposed by PokerStars.
- Check the correct account. Establish whether you have a remaining old balance or an account that transferred.
- Reconcile the total. Compare cash, expected refunds and ticket conversions with the records you kept.
- Save evidence. Keep a private screenshot of the balance and any withdrawal confirmation or reference.
- Record the request. Note the amount, payment method and date so you can follow up accurately.
- Raise discrepancies clearly. Give support the relevant transaction or tournament details through the official support channel.
A submitted withdrawal and money arriving in your bank are separate stages. Do not count the balance as available for another room until the payment has actually arrived.
Having trouble logging in after the move?
Betfair’s guidance says transferred players can try their registered email address if the old username fails. Username capitalisation can also matter. Some accounts need further verification, so leave time to resolve access problems before your next session.
There is also a security job worth doing: Betfair says previous PokerStars two-factor authentication settings did not transfer. Set up 2FA again through the account security settings on desktop, and keep recovery information somewhere safe.
Get the withdrawal sorted before the next grind
The wider PokerStars Network changes will keep giving players things to discuss. For today, the useful move is simpler: establish where your money is, check the total and deal with any remaining old-account withdrawal while the cashier is available.
