Nuts
The nuts is the best possible hand that can be made at a particular point in the hand. Because later cards can change the board, a hand that is the nuts on the flop may not remain the nuts on the river.
Example
On A-K-Q-J-2 with no possible flush, a player holding 10 has the nut straight.
