A continuation bet, usually shortened to c-bet, is a postflop bet made by the player who took the betting lead on the previous street. Most often it refers to the preflop raiser betting the flop. Example You raise before the flop, the big blind calls, and you bet when the flop is dealt. That flop bet is a continuation bet.
