Collusion occurs when players secretly cooperate for an unfair advantage over other opponents. Sharing hidden cards, coordinating betting or deliberately avoiding competition can be examples. Poker operators prohibit such cooperation because players are expected to compete independently.
Example of Collusion:
Two players exchange their hole cards through private messages while playing at the same table. Using that shared information against opponents is collusion.
