An add-on is an optional purchase of extra tournament chips during a designated period. It is often available at the end of a rebuy stage, sometimes regardless of current stack size. Eligibility, cost and the number of chips depend on the event rules.
Example of Add-On:
At the first break, the tournament offers an extra 10,000 chips for $20. You purchase them as an add-on to your existing stack.
