iPoker is adding Triton Poker to its growing portfolio of live-event satellites, giving players across the network a new route into one of poker’s most recognizable high-stakes brands.
The Playtech-powered network will run qualifiers for Triton ONE in Northern Cyprus, where the next festival takes place at the Merit Royal Diamond Hotel from November 5-15, 2026. The partnership extends an increasingly important part of iPoker’s strategy, with the network using online satellites to connect its player pool with major live poker festivals.
iPoker Players Can Qualify for Triton ONE
The new qualification route centers on the $8,000 Triton ONE Main Event, which runs from November 10-15.
Players will be able to work their way through a satellite structure beginning at just €0.50. The ladder progresses through €7.50 and €75 steps before reaching €500 package finals.
Those finals will award €9,000 Triton ONE packages. Each includes an $8,000 Main Event entry, five nights of accommodation at the Merit Royal Diamond Hotel and €626 in spending money.
A total of 19 packages are scheduled to be awarded through the €500 Sunday tournaments. A separate €5 flighted tournament will offer another package, providing an alternative low-cost route into the event.
The promotion is scheduled to run from September 14 until October 19.
Triton Opens Another Route From Online Poker to the Live Game
The partnership arrives while Triton Jeju II brings high-stakes poker to South Korea, with Phil Ivey and many of the world’s leading tournament players competing across the festival.
Triton’s reputation has largely been built around enormous buy-ins and elite fields. Triton ONE offers a different entry point into that ecosystem, with smaller buy-ins and online qualification giving a much broader group of players an opportunity to experience the brand.
Poker Type has already seen what that route can produce.
Moroccan player Reda Achnit reached Jeju after winning a freeroll qualification route and then found himself playing a $25,000 event against some of the biggest names in poker. The freeroll qualifier’s Triton Jeju run included climbing into the top 10 in chips alongside Phil Ivey despite Achnit having never previously played a live poker tournament.
iPoker’s new satellites potentially put that kind of opportunity in front of another large group of online players.
iPoker Continues Building Its Live Poker Network
Triton is not iPoker’s first move into live-event qualification.
The network has increasingly used satellites to connect its online ecosystem with live tournaments, including qualification routes for festivals such as the Greek Poker Odyssea and Malta Poker Festival.
Adding Triton is significant because of the strength of the brand at the top end of live poker. Triton has become closely associated with super high roller tournaments and players such as Jason Koon, Phil Ivey and Dan “Jungleman” Cates.
Triton ONE broadens that model.
Instead of requiring players to arrive with the bankroll needed for a traditional Triton Super High Roller Series event, the satellite system creates a ladder starting for less than €1.
For iPoker, it adds another recognizable live destination to its expanding satellite schedule. For Triton, it creates another funnel bringing online players into its lower-buy-in ONE series.
And for an online qualifier, the difference between a €0.50 satellite and sitting down at a Triton Main Event could now be only a handful of tournaments away.
