Another new name is entering Asia’s increasingly crowded live poker market. Infinity Poker has announced a 114-event festival at Paradise City in Incheon, South Korea, with ₩800 million in guaranteed prize money and plans to establish a three-stop Asian circuit in 2027.

The UAE-based operator will stage its inaugural festival from March 5-14, working alongside Korean poker organiser Pokerfors. Its Main Event carries a ₩600 million guarantee, but the most interesting part of the schedule might be an unusual Mini Main format that lets players collect a payout on Day 1 and still progress towards the final.
Infinity Poker Incheon 2027: Dates, Buy-ins and Guarantees
The ten-day festival will feature an average of more than 11 scheduled events per day. There is plenty of No-Limit Hold’em, alongside Omaha, mixed games and high rollers, with the ₩5 million Super High Roller scheduled for March 11.
Three tournaments account for the festival’s advertised ₩800 million guarantee.
| Tournament | Buy-in | Guarantee |
|---|---|---|
| Main Event | ₩1,500,000 | ₩600 million |
| Mini Main Event | ₩450,000 | ₩150 million |
| Somuchpoker Championship | ₩600,000 | ₩50 million |
| Total guaranteed | ₩800 million |
The Main Event runs from March 10-14, while the Somuchpoker Championship opens the festival on March 5. High-roller events are also scheduled throughout the series, including a six-max tournament and five-card Pot-Limit Omaha.
An important distinction is that the ₩800 million headline guarantee is concentrated in three tournaments. It does not mean every event on the 114-tournament schedule carries a guaranteed prize pool.

The Mini Main Offers Something Different
The ₩450,000 Mini Main could be the tournament that gets players talking, particularly those who regularly grind multiple starting flights.
Infinity Poker has confirmed 11 Day 1 flights with a structure that rewards players before they reach Day 2.
- The top 15% of each starting field receive at least twice their buy-in.
- The top 5% also qualify for Day 2.
- Players can enter multiple starting flights.
- Those qualifying more than once can carry their best stack forward.
- Day 1 payouts are made on the same day.
That creates an interesting decision for players who secure an early qualification but believe they can build a better stack in another flight. The format also offers something conventional multi-flight tournaments do not always provide: a chance to collect money before returning for the business end of the event. Full details of the final payout distribution and how multiple-flight qualifications will be administered will be worth checking before registration.
Infinity Faces Established Competition in Incheon
Launching a new poker tour is one thing. Filling the tournament room when established operators already visit the same venue is another. Paradise City has hosted the Asian Poker Tour, PokerStars’ Asia Pacific Poker Tour and several other international series. Infinity is entering a market where players already have considerable choice.
The APT’s August 2026 Incheon Main Event provides a useful benchmark.
| Main Event comparison | APT Incheon 2026 | Infinity 2027 |
|---|---|---|
| Buy-in | ₩2.5 million | ₩1.5 million |
| Guaranteed prize pool | ₩1.5 billion | ₩600 million |
| Entries | 1,393 | Not yet held |
| Final prize pool | ₩3.009 billion | Not yet held |
The APT tournament was won by Hong Kong’s Stephen Pang, whose victory produced one of the year’s strangest final-table moments. Poker Type covered how Pang celebrated his Main Event victory too early before discovering his opponent still had chips.
Infinity’s Main Event costs 40% less to enter than the APT equivalent, although its guarantee is also considerably smaller. That makes the opening festival a different proposition from the established tour’s record-setting events.
PokerStars also returned to Incheon in September 2026 with the APPT, whose Main Event advertised a ₩1 billion guarantee. The market is certainly there. Infinity now needs to persuade enough players to add another South Korean festival to their calendars.
Asia’s New Poker Tours Are Taking Different Approaches
Infinity is not the only newer operator attempting to establish a regular audience across Asia.
Singapore-based Trident Poker Series is returning to the World Legacy cruise ship from December 4-6, 2026. Its programme includes a S$700 Main Event, S$500 Mystery Bounty and S$350 Deepstack Turbo, with players boarding in Singapore or Malaysia.
Trident is pursuing smaller fields and a travel-focused tournament experience rather than competing with the biggest festivals on guarantees.
Infinity has chosen a different route, launching with a substantial schedule at an established casino resort.
Meanwhile, South Korea’s other major poker destination continues to develop. Poker Type recently examined how Jeju became an Asian high-stakes poker centre, with Triton attracting the game’s wealthiest players and the APT building enormous fields at more accessible buy-ins.
The APT’s 135-event Jeju festival in September further illustrated the scale of tournament poker now operating in South Korea.
Who Is Behind Infinity Poker?
Infinity Poker is led by founder and CEO Rajvi Makol, alongside co-founders Savya Ansh and Anandita Anand. The business brings together experience from poker, filmmaking, hospitality and marketing, with the ambition of developing a broader international tournament community.
The operator has outlined three Asian festivals for 2027, with a second stop planned for August. The remaining destinations have not been publicly confirmed.
Online satellites under the Road to Infinity name are also planned, although the operator has yet to announce which platforms will host them or how players can qualify.
For anyone considering the March festival, Paradise City operates a foreigner-only casino. Visitors must meet the venue’s age and identification requirements, and international players should bring their passports.
Infinity has picked a venue with a proven ability to attract international poker fields, and its Mini Main offers a format worth watching. The first real test comes in March, when the operator must turn its ambitious schedule into actual entries at the tables.
