Benny Glaser apparently looked at his record 17 WCOOP titles and decided the gap at the top was getting a little uncomfortable. The British mixed-game specialist won twice on Saturday, September 26, taking down the $530 Stud and $530 HORSE events on PokerStars to move his all-time World Championship of Online Poker record to 19 titles.
The two victories earned Benny Glaser $8,357 and $11,082 respectively, for $19,439 across the two wins. The money is almost secondary at this point, because Glaser has once again stretched a WCOOP record that already looked difficult enough to catch.
Glaser Goes From 17 WCOOP Titles to 19 in One Day
Glaser began Saturday with 17 career WCOOP victories. Number 17 had arrived earlier in the 2026 series when “RunGodlike” won the $1,050 8-Game for $21,400, putting him back on the winner’s board after entering the festival with a record 16 titles.
He did not have to wait long for numbers 18 and 19.
The first came in the $530 Stud, one of the formats where Glaser’s reputation makes seeing his screen name at the table particularly unpleasant. He collected $8,357 for the victory before adding another title in the $530 HORSE, where the five-game rotation of Hold’em, Omaha Hi-Lo, Razz, Stud and Stud Hi-Lo played even more directly into his mixed-game strengths.
That second win was worth $11,082. More importantly, it pushed the number beside Glaser’s name from an already extraordinary 18 to a slightly ridiculous 19.
WCOOP Record Race Suddenly Has a Bigger Gap
The timing matters because Glaser’s WCOOP lead had recently started looking less comfortable.
Patrick Leonard won his 15th career WCOOP title earlier in the series, moving to within two of Glaser when the latter sat on 17. Niklas Astedt and Joao Vieira have also continued collecting WCOOP titles, turning the top of the all-time list into something approaching a genuine race.
Glaser has now changed the numbers again.

Instead of Leonard sitting two behind, Glaser suddenly has four titles of breathing room. With WCOOP still running, nobody should assume those numbers are finished moving either.
Leonard in particular has been relentless across PokerStars Championship of Online Poker events. Poker Type recently covered his latest near miss at WCOOP title 16, and another deep run before the series ends would surprise nobody.
Seven Titles in 2023 Was Apparently Not Enough
What makes Glaser’s WCOOP record so strange is the speed with which much of it has been accumulated.
His first WCOOP title came in 2018, when he won a PLO event. He added victories in 2019, 2020 and 2021 before winning four times in 2022.
Then came 2023.
Glaser won seven WCOOP titles during that series, setting a record for the most victories by one player at a single WCOOP. The run covered everything from Badugi and draw games to PLO8 and No-Limit Hold’em, which neatly destroyed any argument that his online success was limited to one comfortable corner of the mixed-game schedule.
He added another title in 2025 before arriving at WCOOP 2026 with 16. Three wins this year have now pushed that total to 19.
Stud and HORSE Are Very Benny Glaser Ways to Do It
There would have been something amusing about Glaser reaching 19 by winning two enormous No-Limit Hold’em fields. Instead, he did it in Stud and HORSE, which feels much more on brand.
Glaser’s live résumé tells the same story. He has repeatedly won at the highest level when multiple poker variants are involved, including victory in the prestigious $50,000 Poker Players Championship at the 2026 World Series of Poker.
That ability to move between games is increasingly rare at a time when much of tournament poker is dominated by No-Limit Hold’em specialists. WCOOP is one of the few major online festivals where Stud, draw games, Omaha variants and mixed formats still regularly produce meaningful titles, and Glaser has spent years making the most of it.
His previous WCOOP victories already included HORSE, Razz, PLO, Omaha Hi-Lo, Badugi, 2-7 Triple Draw and 5-Card Draw alongside Hold’em. Adding another Stud title and another HORSE victory simply makes the collection look even more complete.
19 WCOOP Titles and WCOOP Is Not Finished Yet
There is also an inconvenient detail for everyone chasing Glaser.
The 2026 WCOOP is still going.
The three No-Limit Hold’em Main Events begin on Sunday, September 27, including the $10,300 World Championship with a $2.5 million guarantee. Plenty of other events remain before the series finishes on September 30, giving Glaser more chances to turn 19 into 20. Considering his history, dismissing that possibility would be brave.
Glaser once won seven WCOOP titles in a single series. He has now won three in 2026, including two on the same Saturday, and has rebuilt a four-title advantage at the top of the all-time standings.
At some point, “RunGodlike” stops looking like an optimistic PokerStars username and starts looking like a fairly accurate job description.
