888poker is continuing its behind-the-scenes coverage of the World Series of Poker today, with the second episode of its latest WSOP documentary series scheduled for release on August 15.
The new episode continues 888poker’s look inside the 2026 WSOP, following its ambassadors and players as they take on poker’s biggest annual festival in Las Vegas.
Brazilian poker pro Vivian “Vivi” Saliba is among the players featured, giving viewers another look at the experience of competing at the WSOP away from the usual tournament broadcasts.
888poker Goes Behind the Scenes at the WSOP
The series is designed to show more than cards, chip counts and tournament results.
Instead, cameras follow the players through the highs and lows that come with spending weeks in Las Vegas chasing deep runs and WSOP bracelets.
Saliba is particularly familiar with the pressures of the series. The Brazilian joined 888poker’s ambassador team in 2017 and has since become a regular at the WSOP. She also became a WSOP bracelet winner in 2024 after taking down the €2,000 Pot-Limit Omaha event at WSOP Europe.
Her history with the Main Event goes back even further. Saliba first attracted significant international attention during the 2017 WSOP, when she played the $10,000 Main Event at just 24 years old.
888poker Documentary Returns After Aaron Barone’s Main Event Run
The new series follows 888poker’s previous behind-the-scenes WSOP content, which included the remarkable Main Event run of Aaron Barone.
As Poker Type reported when the new series was announced, Barone became one of the standout stories of 888poker’s previous WSOP documentary after turning a satellite qualification into a deep Main Event run worth $125,000.
That success gave the series something tournament coverage cannot always capture: the experience of a player progressing through the Main Event while the pressure and potential prize money increase with every surviving day.
The 2026 edition gives 888poker another opportunity to tell those stories through the players representing the brand in Las Vegas.
Poker Documentaries Are Becoming Part of WSOP Coverage
Poker operators and creators are increasingly looking beyond traditional tournament highlights when covering major events.
Vlogs, documentaries and short-form social content can show viewers what happens between hands, from preparation and travel to reactions following a major win or tournament elimination.
The WSOP is particularly suited to that approach. Its summer series brings thousands of players to Las Vegas and creates weeks of potential stories beyond those eventually shown on televised tables.
