ACR Venom Final Flights Today as $6.5M PKOs Reach Last Chance

Sunday, October 18, is the final opportunity to enter ACR Poker’s $6.5 million Dual Venom PKOs, with the fifth and last starting flights getting underway at 1:05 p.m. ET.

Venom an ACR Poker promotion.

The $5 million guaranteed No-Limit Hold’em tournament and $1.5 million guaranteed Pot-Limit Omaha event have been running since October 4. Both carry a $2,650 buy-in, and players who have yet to secure a Day 2 stack have one final chance to join the surviving field.

It is also a particularly busy Sunday for ACR. Alongside the final Venom flights, the room is launching three Halloween Mystery PKOs with another $650,000 guaranteed and offering seven $30,000 packages to WSOP Paradise.

$6.5 Million Venoms Enter Their Final Starting Flights

The two Venom tournaments share the same schedule but operate as separate competitions, each with its own prize pool, bounties and champion. The PLO event’s $1.5 million guarantee matches the largest Pot-Limit Omaha PKO guarantee in ACR history.

Both use a progressive knockout format, meaning players can collect money for eliminating opponents before the tournament concludes. A portion of the bounty from each knockout increases the value attached to the player responsible, creating potentially valuable targets as the tournament progresses.

There is one important restriction for returning players. Anyone who has already qualified for Day 2 cannot register for another starting flight in the same tournament, although they can still enter the other Venom if eligible.

The remaining schedule is:

StageDateUK time
Final Day 1EOctober 186:05 p.m.
Day 2, both eventsOctober 196:05 p.m.
Day 3, NLH onlyOctober 206:05 p.m.
Both final tablesOctober 219:05 p.m.

Chance Kornuth and Chris Moorman Already Through

Several established professionals have already booked their places in Monday’s field. According to ACR’s latest Team Pro update, Chance Kornuth has qualified for the PLO Venom with a stack reported at 458 big blinds, while Chris “Big Huni” Hunichen has advanced with 173 big blinds.

British tournament specialist Chris Moorman is also through to Day 2 of the No-Limit Hold’em event, with ACR reporting a 25-big-blind stack. Those figures underline the contrasting situations awaiting players when the surviving fields return.

Kornuth has particular history with ACR’s biggest tournaments. In September, he reached both Venom final tables, collecting a combined $188,734.88 across the NLH and PLO Mystery Bounty events.

The October tournaments use progressive knockouts rather than September’s Mystery Bounty format, but Kornuth once again has an opportunity to make a significant run in Omaha.

Final Venom Fever Satellites Offer Cheaper Entry

Paying $2,650 directly is not the only route into Sunday’s closing flights. The Venom Fever promotion, which began September 29, also finishes today after advertising 587 guaranteed seats across its entire campaign.

The final Mega Satellites are scheduled from 10:05 a.m. ET, including:

  • $33 NLH Mega: 5 guaranteed seats
  • $109 NLH Mega: 20 guaranteed seats
  • $290 NLH Mega: 30 guaranteed seats
  • $630 NLH Mega: 30 guaranteed seats
  • $290 PLO Mega: 10 guaranteed seats

Those guarantees apply to the advertised Sunday qualifiers, rather than the full campaign. There is also a freeroll feeder route into a $3.15 Super Satellite, which can lead to the $33 NLH Mega.

Our earlier ACR Venom satellite guide explains how the different qualifying routes work. Players should check remaining registration windows, seat availability and tournament conditions in the lobby before entering.

Halloween Mystery PKOs Launch With $650,000 Guaranteed

There is more to Sunday’s ACR schedule than the Venom. Three new Halloween Mystery PKOs begin their opening flights, introducing a format that combines mystery prizes with progressive knockout bounties.

The tournaments offer:

Buy-inGuarantee
$109$500,000
$33$100,000
$5.50$50,000

Unlike the Venom events, these Halloween tournaments allow qualifying stacks from multiple starting flights to be combined for Day 2 on November 1. Bounties do not become available until that second stage.

When an eligible knockout reveals a mystery prize, half its value goes directly to the winning player and the other half increases the bounty on their head. That means hitting a large mystery prize also makes the winner a potentially valuable target for everyone else.

The unusual structure should make the November 1 action worth following, particularly if a substantial mystery prize is revealed early.

Seven WSOP Paradise Packages Also Available

Another major event takes place at 3:05 p.m. ET (8:05 p.m. UK time), when ACR hosts a $1,050 satellite guaranteeing seven $30,000 WSOP Paradise packages.

Each package includes a $26,000 entry to the $50 million guaranteed WSOP Paradise Super Main Event, scheduled for December 10–17, alongside accommodation at SLS Baha Mar. Travel and personal expenses are not included.

ACR awarded seven packages through the previous Sunday qualifier on October 11. The latest satellite continues the room’s wider campaign to award 100 packages to the Bahamas.

The Final Countdown to Two Venom Champions

By Monday evening, the remaining players in both Venom tournaments will be competing for their share of the advertised $6.5 million in guarantees. The NLH field will have an additional day of play before Wednesday’s scheduled final tables, while the PLO event moves directly from Day 2 to its conclusion.
