Tournament Poker

A chip chop is a tournament deal based on the players' relative chip counts. A common method first guarantees each player the next payout, then divides the remaining negotiable money in proportion to their stacks. It differs from an ICM-based calculation.

Example of Chip Chop:
Two players lock up $100 each and have $1,000 left to divide. With 60% and 40% of the chips, they receive another $600 and $400 under this chip-chop method.
