Tournament Poker

A guaranteed prize pool is the minimum prize amount an organizer advertises for an event, subject to its stated terms. If qualifying player contributions fall short, the organizer supplies the difference. Fees and bounty allocations can affect how the advertised guarantee is calculated.

Example

Example of Guaranteed Prize Pool

An event guarantees $10,000 in prizes. If players contribute only $8,000 to that guaranteed pool, the organizer adds $2,000.
