PokerStars on FanDuel Launches $3.5M Dynasty Series Across US and Ontario

PokerStars on FanDuel is preparing its next major online tournament series, with more than 160 events scheduled across the United States and Ontario during September.

The new September Dynasty Series will run from September 12 to 28, bringing 100 tournaments and at least $3.5 million in guarantees to the shared US network.

Another 61 tournaments are scheduled for Ontario.

It represents another significant step in the development of PokerStars on FanDuel following the launch of the newly branded poker platform earlier this year.

100 Poker Tournaments and $3.5 Million Guaranteed in US

The US version of the Dynasty Series will feature 100 tournaments across 17 days.

Players in Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania will compete on the shared PokerStars on FanDuel network, with buy-ins beginning at $10 and climbing as high as $1,500.

The biggest tournament is the $300 Main Event on September 27 and 28, which comes with a $350,000 guarantee.

A $50 Mini Main Event will offer another $75,000 guaranteed, while the schedule also includes several tournaments with six-figure prize pools.

No-Limit Hold’em accounts for much of the schedule, but Pot-Limit Omaha and five-card PLO tournaments will also be available.

The series follows a busy period for PokerStars tournament players. Outside the regulated North American network, PokerStars is preparing for WCOOP 2026, which begins on September 6 and will crown 350 champions across 121 numbered events.

Ontario Gets Its Own Dynasty Series

Ontario players will have a separate version of the September Dynasty Series.

A total of 61 tournaments are currently scheduled for the provincial player pool, including a C$300 Main Event.

Full guarantees for the Ontario schedule have not yet been announced.

That makes the US series considerably easier to assess at this stage, but running the two schedules simultaneously demonstrates the increasingly prominent role tournament poker is playing in the PokerStars on FanDuel operation.

Ontario remains ring-fenced from the US network, so players there will compete in their own tournaments rather than against players from Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

PokerStars Continues Building FanDuel Poker

The Dynasty Series arrives during a period of considerable change for PokerStars in North America.

Rather than simply operating under the familiar PokerStars identity, the company has increasingly tied its regulated US poker operation to FanDuel.

That gives the poker product access to one of the biggest gambling brands in the North American market while retaining PokerStars technology and tournament infrastructure behind it.

A substantial tournament schedule is one way of putting that combination to work.

The $3.5 million US guarantee is spread across 100 events rather than concentrated in a single tournament, giving players a reason to return throughout the second half of September.

It also arrives while PokerStars is running major online tournament promotions elsewhere. The operator recently introduced the WCOOP Games featuring Spraggy, Marle Spragg and Sebastian Huber ahead of its flagship World Championship of Online Poker.

Busy September Ahead for PokerStars Players

September is consequently becoming an important month across the wider PokerStars tournament ecosystem.

WCOOP runs internationally from September 6 to 30.

The Dynasty Series begins six days later and runs until September 28 in the US and Ontario.

They are separate tournament ecosystems with different player pools, schedules and guarantees, but together they show PokerStars putting considerable emphasis on tournament poker as the year moves towards its final quarter.

For players in Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, that means 100 Dynasty Series tournaments and $3.5 million guaranteed.

Ontario gets another 61.

And PokerStars on FanDuel gets another opportunity to establish its new identity in North American online poker.
