Donk Bet
A donk bet is a bet made into the previous street’s aggressor before that player has had the chance to make a continuation bet. The term describes the betting sequence, not necessarily the quality of the play.
Example
You call a button raise from the big blind. The flop comes down and you lead into the raiser instead of checking. That lead is a donk bet.
