The World Series of Poker may have crowned a new Main Event champion in Las Vegas, but there is little time for US players to recover from the summer.
The WSOP Circuit Online is underway on WSOP.com, with 12 official gold ring events and more than $1.4 million in guaranteed prize pools scheduled between August 6 and 17.
Players in Nevada, New Jersey, Michigan and Pennsylvania can compete for Circuit hardware without travelling to a live stop, with buy-ins ranging from $100 to $1,000 and a $250,000 guaranteed Main Event headlining the schedule.
There is also an extra incentive attached to winning. After some confusion surrounding the promotion, WSOP has confirmed that eligible US online Circuit ring winners will continue to receive a $5,000 WSOP Paradise package.
12 WSOP Circuit Rings in 12 Days
The format is simple: one official ring event is scheduled for each day of the festival.
That gives online grinders 12 opportunities to add a recognised piece of WSOP hardware to their poker résumé.
The schedule includes traditional No-Limit Hold’em alongside bounty and other formats, with guarantees increasing for some of the biggest tournaments.
One of the highlights is a $150,000 guaranteed Mystery Bounty, while the series culminates with the $250,000 guaranteed Main Event.
Importantly, these aren’t simply tournaments carrying WSOP branding. Winners receive official WSOP Circuit gold rings, the same accolade players chase at live Circuit stops around the world.
$250,000 Main Event Headlines the Series
For most players, the Main Event will be the tournament to circle.
The championship carries a $1,000 buy-in and $250,000 guarantee, making it the largest individual guarantee of the 12-event schedule.
It represents a considerably cheaper route to WSOP success than the $10,000 Main Event in Las Vegas, although winning an online Circuit event remains a significant challenge.
The relatively accessible schedule also means players don’t need a high-roller bankroll to participate.
Buy-ins across the series begin at $100, giving lower-stakes players opportunities to compete for a ring alongside the larger championship events.
Half-Price Sunday Arrives August 16
One of the more unusual features comes towards the end of the festival.
On Sunday, August 16, WSOP.com will cut the buy-ins of some of its regular Sunday tournaments in half while keeping their usual guarantees intact.
That includes several of the platform’s established weekly events, potentially creating significant overlays if player numbers don’t increase enough to compensate for the reduced entry fees.
For value-conscious tournament players, that could make August 16 one of the most interesting days on the schedule even beyond the Circuit ring action.
Ring Winners Can Qualify for WSOP Paradise
There’s another reason these rings matter.
WSOP recently faced criticism after players questioned whether US online Circuit winners would receive the $5,000 WSOP Paradise package offered to Circuit champions.
The issue became public after online ring winner Drake “Sweet4U” Kemper questioned why he had reportedly been denied the package despite WSOP promotional material appearing to include all Circuit champions.
WSOP subsequently clarified its position.
The organisation confirmed that eligible winners of qualifying WSOP Online Circuit events in both US and international markets will continue receiving the $5,000 Paradise invitation package.
That makes winning considerably more valuable than the ring alone.
WSOP Paradise is scheduled for December 3-17, 2026, with the series moving to Baha Mar in the Bahamas this year.
Why Do WSOP Circuit Rings Matter?
A bracelet remains poker’s most famous piece of hardware, but Circuit rings have developed considerable prestige of their own.
The WSOP Circuit was originally designed to bring tournament poker to players outside Las Vegas. It has since developed into a worldwide tour encompassing live and online events.
For recreational players in particular, Circuit events provide a more realistic opportunity to win recognised WSOP hardware without paying the four and five-figure buy-ins associated with many bracelet tournaments.
Moving part of that ecosystem online makes the barrier even lower.
There are no flights, hotels or lengthy trips to a casino. Eligible players can potentially become WSOP champions from home.
Who Can Play WSOP Circuit Online?
There is an important restriction for anyone considering entering.
This particular series is US-facing rather than international.
Players must be physically located in one of the states supported by WSOP’s shared US online poker network: Nevada, New Jersey, Michigan or Pennsylvania.
That distinction is particularly important following the recent expansion and restructuring of WSOP’s online poker offering.

For many poker fans, the conclusion of the Main Event traditionally feels like the end of the WSOP summer.
