ACR Poker has handed out another seven $30,000 WSOP Paradise packages, and the November 1 Mega Satellite left the operator $38,000 out of pocket. Just 172 entries turned up for a tournament guaranteeing $210,000 in packages. All seven seats were awarded anyway, making it four straight Sundays of overlay.

Now ACR is going again. This Sunday’s $1,050 Mega Satellite, scheduled for November 8, guarantees another seven packages to the Bahamas. For players chasing a $26,000 WSOP Super Main Event seat rather than stumping up the full buy-in, that run of missed guarantees is worth a closer look.
Four Straight Overlays: Where the Extra Value Came From
Each $1,050 Mega entry contributes $1,000 towards the package pool, with the remaining $50 accounting for the tournament fee. Seven $30,000 packages therefore need 210 entries to be fully funded by the field. November 1 finished 38 entries short, leaving ACR to cover the $38,000 difference.
It’s becoming quite a run. ACR has now overlaid its Paradise Megas on four consecutive Sundays, including two October editions that each missed their guarantees by more than $50,000.
| Mega Satellite date | Packages awarded | Entries | Reported overlay |
|---|---|---|---|
| October 11 | 7 | Not specified | More than $50,000 |
| October 18 | 7 | Not specified | More than $50,000 |
| October 25 | 7 | 190 | $20,000 |
| November 1 | 7 | 172 | $38,000 |
| Total | 28 | More than $158,000 |
That’s a healthy chunk of value being added to the satellite pools. In the latest Mega, the entries generated $172,000 towards the packages, with ACR supplying the remaining $38,000 to honour its $210,000 guarantee.
Seven packages from 172 entries works out at roughly one package for every 24.6 entries. That isn’t the same as saying an individual player has a one-in-25 chance, especially where re-entries are involved, but it shows why overlay hunters have been keeping an eye on these Sunday tournaments.
Three More $30,000 WSOP Paradise Megas Remain
ACR isn’t reducing the guarantees after four weeks of overlays. The next two Sunday Megas will again offer seven packages each, before the final scheduled satellite increases the guarantee to eight.
| Date | Buy-in | Packages GTD | Total value |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sunday, November 8 | $1,050 | 7 | $210,000 |
| Sunday, November 15 | $1,050 | 7 | $210,000 |
| Sunday, November 22 | $1,050 | 8 | $240,000 |
All three tournaments are scheduled to start at 3:05pm Eastern Time, which is 8:05pm GMT for UK readers.
There’s no guarantee the overlays will continue. ACR has plenty of time to attract more players, particularly with a $50 million guaranteed live tournament at the end of the qualification ladder. However, with four consecutive shortfalls already recorded, the entry counts will be worth watching as registration progresses.
What’s Actually Inside a $30,000 WSOP Paradise Package?
Here’s the important bit: winning a package doesn’t mean ACR transfers $30,000 into your poker account. You’re winning a tournament entry and accommodation for a trip to the Bahamas.
The package includes:
- $26,000 tournament entry: A seat in the WSOP Paradise Super Main Event, which carries a $50 million guarantee and runs December 10–17.
- Accommodation: A room at SLS Baha Mar, checking in December 5 and checking out December 18.
- Room occupancy: Accommodation for up to two adults and two children under 14, subject to the package conditions.
- Resort access: Complimentary Wi-Fi and access to Baha Mar resort amenities.
Flights, meals, drinks and personal spending aren’t included. The hotel is supplied on a room-only basis, and the dates are fixed. You can arrive later or leave earlier, but unused nights cannot be exchanged for cash or moved to another week.
The first package you win must be used by you. It cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged for a cash alternative, so make sure you can actually get to the Bahamas before deciding to fire a bullet.
What Happens if You Win Two Packages?
This is where things become interesting for repeat satellite winners.
ACR’s terms allow players who win a second or subsequent package to sell each additional package back for $21,000 or transfer it to another eligible player, subject to verification.
The first package remains non-transferable, and the deadline for selling back additional packages is November 23, 2026. A transferred package can only be transferred once.
There’s some other small print worth knowing. Winners must complete the event registration process, wear an ACR Poker patch during the Super Main Event and be available for social-media interviews. It’s better to know those requirements before you’ve booked flights.
Don’t Fancy Paying $1,050? Try the $95 Beast
You don’t have to buy directly into a Mega Satellite to take a shot at Paradise.
ACR runs weekly $95 Beast satellites that award seats into the following Sunday’s $1,050 Mega. These aren’t direct WSOP Paradise packages, but they provide a cheaper route into the tournament that awards them.
Here’s what’s left on the published Beast schedule:
| Beast date | Buy-in | Seats GTD | Qualifies for |
|---|---|---|---|
| November 8 | $95 | 50 | November 15 Mega |
| November 15 | $95 | 60 | November 22 Mega |
Both Beast satellites start at 5:05pm ET, or 10:05pm GMT.
There’s an important distinction here. The November 8 Beast does not feed the November 8 Mega taking place earlier that day. It awards tickets to the following Sunday’s tournament.
ACR’s latest partner briefing also advertises 14 weekly $109 Super Satellites guaranteeing 70 Mega seats between them. Check the client for individual start times and the destination Mega before registering.

Satellite Strategy: Don’t Punt Off Your Stack on the Bubble
A satellite isn’t a normal MTT, and that’s particularly important when the prizes are identical $30,000 packages.
In a regular tournament, accumulating chips is generally rewarded because the biggest payouts are concentrated at the top. In these Megas, the player who squeaks into seventh gets the same package as the player who finishes with half the chips in play.
That changes the maths significantly.
If there are eight players remaining and seven packages on offer, calling off your tournament life with a marginal hand can be a disaster when several shorter stacks are struggling to survive. Sometimes the correct play is to fold a hand you’d happily gamble with in a normal tournament.
But don’t confuse satellite strategy with folding everything.
A medium stack may be able to put serious ICM pressure on opponents who can’t afford to bust, while a short stack may have no choice but to find a spot and gamble. Pay attention to the number of seats left, effective stacks, the blinds and who can actually hurt your chances of qualifying.
The objective isn’t to win all the chips. It’s to win a package.
ACR Is Advertising 100 Paradise Packages
ACR’s wider Paradise promotion advertises 100 packages worth $30,000 apiece, representing $3 million in package value.
The seven scheduled Sunday Megas guarantee 50 packages between them: six editions offering seven packages and a final edition guaranteeing eight. Those are minimum guarantees rather than necessarily the total number of packages the promotion will award.
The operator has not itemised another 50 packages within that published Sunday Mega guarantee table. A fuller breakdown of how the overall 100-package target is distributed would help players understand the complete qualification campaign.
For now, the next concrete opportunity is clear. November 8 brings another $1,050 Mega with seven $30,000 packages on the line.
If ACR misses its guarantee for a fifth consecutive Sunday, the resulting overlay could make this one of the more interesting satellite runs of the year. Either way, 28 players have already booked their trips through the first four Megas, and the Bahamas package hunt is far from finished.
