Chris Moneymaker and ACR Poker

Chris Moneymaker is an ACR Poker Team Pro and a prominent representative of the room. The 2003 WSOP Main Event champion brings a direct connection to poker’s satellite story: his own breakthrough began with an online qualifier.

His ACR role extends beyond a name on the website. He represents the brand at live events, contributes interviews and promotional content, and has taken part in ACR’s online Pro and Ambassador meet-up games.

ACR has also run online satellites for Moneymaker Poker Tour stops, including its 2026 Aruba campaign. Those links give the partnership a practical tournament angle, although past qualifiers should not be mistaken for an offer still running today.

His involvement makes ACR familiar to fans of the poker boom. It does not guarantee you will play against him or independently establish the room’s security performance.

The Venom and lower-cost qualifying routes

The Venom is ACR’s flagship tournament brand. Its October 2026 Dual Venom PKOs offer $6.5 million in combined guarantees across separate No-Limit Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha events, running October 4–21.

October eventGuaranteeDirect buy-in
NLH Venom PKO$5 million$2,650
PLO Venom PKO$1.5 million$2,650

Each event has five starting flights, with the final Day 1 on October 18. Venom Fever offers direct and mega satellites, plus Survivor Flips steps starting at $0.80, allowing players to pursue a seat without paying the direct entry price.

A progressive knockout structure combines the tournament prize pool with growing elimination bounties. Check the lobby for registration deadlines, entry limits and ticket rules before choosing a route.

More than one headline event

ACR’s wider schedule includes the Online Super Series and smaller-buy-in festival editions. The room’s satellite history also includes live destinations, but current availability depends on the announced promotion.

Look at the event’s blind speed, late-registration period and re-entry rules as well as its guarantee. A large prize pool does not make every tournament suitable for your budget or available time.

Cash games, Blitz Poker and shorter formats

ACR offers Hold’em, Omaha, multi-table tournaments and sit-and-go games. Blitz Poker is its fast-fold option, moving you to another table after folding rather than keeping you waiting for that hand to end.

Spinz provides a three-player sit-and-go format with a randomized prize pool. These shorter formats offer a different session structure from a large multi-table event, with their own fees and variance.

HUDs and hand review

ACR’s policy permits qualifying hand trackers and HUDs that use statistics from hands you personally played. This is a useful difference for players who prefer their own review setup, subject to the permitted-tool conditions.

That permission excludes information from the current hand and does not authorize data-mined histories, real-time advice or automated play. Check the exact tool and version against the room’s policy.

The Beast and Blitz Beast

The Beast is a weekly leaderboard for conventional cash games, with cash and tournament rewards. ACR says it funds the promotion from existing rake rather than charging an extra participation fee.

Blitz Poker has its own Blitz Beast race. Leaderboard rewards depend on points and finishing position, so they are an additional promotional opportunity rather than a fixed cashback payment to every participant.

Windows, Mac and mobile access

ACR supplies desktop software for Windows and macOS. Its download page also directs mobile users to a phone-based experience, while Android has a separate download route.

Mobile game availability differs by device. ACR’s help pages list Blitz, Spinz and tournament access on Android; confirm the current options on your phone before assuming the desktop lobby is fully available there.

Desktop is the practical starting point for larger table views and managing several tournaments. Use the current installation instructions reached through the room and keep the client updated.

Trust, licensing and game integrity

ACR has a long association with the Winning Poker Network and a recognizable roster of professionals. Its published policies cover bots, collusion, account sharing and unauthorized assistance, giving players specific rules to review.

Those documents describe sanctions and compensation procedures, but they are operator policies rather than proof that every incident is detected. Compensation can be limited and discretionary, so a blanket guarantee of protection would overstate the evidence.

Licensing information needs care

The current footer names International Processing Services SA in Panama and an Anjouan licence, ALSI-202607066-FI2. The terms page still refers to Curaçao, so readers should confirm the applicable licence and account agreement before depositing.

An offshore licence does not establish permission to serve every country or US state. Eligibility depends on your location and the applicable restrictions.

Deposits and withdrawals

Payment methods and limits appear in the account cashier and vary by region. ACR offers a range of funding routes, including cryptocurrency options, but bonus eligibility can differ for first-time crypto deposits.

Its withdrawal FAQ states a 10% rake requirement before cashing out. Confirm how that applies to your deposit, complete requested verification and review any method-specific fees before funding the account.

Our review uses published documentation and supplied screenshots. We have not tested payments, support or live traffic firsthand; how we assess poker rooms explains our evidence standards.

Our verdict on ACR Poker

ACR is an appealing option for eligible players who prioritize major tournaments, satellite routes and a desktop setup that permits qualifying tracking tools. Blitz Poker and weekly leaderboards add variety for cash-game players.

The large welcome allowance is useful when its points requirement fits your planned play. Check regional eligibility, account rules and the applicable licensing information before joining.
