Limp
To limp is to enter a pot preflop by calling the big blind rather than raising. An open limp occurs when nobody has entered the pot before you; an over-limp occurs after another player has already limped.
Example
At 100/200 blinds, calling 200 as the first player into the pot is an open limp.
