PokerStars is adding a live poker incentive to this year’s WCOOP Women’s World Championship, with the top three finishers set to win seats into the £20,000 guaranteed Women’s Classic at The Hippodrome Casino in London.
The live event forms part of Ladies Weekend, a three-day celebration of women in poker running from October 16 to 18, 2026. Hosted inside the PokerStars LIVE room at The Hippodrome, the weekend will combine cash games, coaching sessions and tournament action.
WCOOP Players Can Win Their Way to London
The opportunity comes through the $215 WCOOP 73-H NLHE Women’s World Championship, which carries a $10,000 guarantee and takes place on September 20 at 12:30 ET.
Each of the top three finishers will receive a £300 seat into the Hippodrome Women’s Classic on October 18. It gives players in one of WCOOP’s dedicated women’s events a direct route from the online tables to one of the UK’s best-known poker rooms.
The promotion also gives the Women’s World Championship a little extra value beyond the prize pool. For players already planning to fire the event, there is now a live poker trip to London waiting at the end of a deep run.
Three Days of Poker at The Hippodrome
Ladies Weekend is part of the wider Women’s Poker Federation Ladies Weekend, which is being marked across more than 26 locations worldwide. The Hippodrome Casino is the only UK venue taking part.
The schedule begins on Friday, October 16 with a women’s cash game stream before moving into a study-focused Saturday. The Female Study Bootcamp will feature coaching and discussion from several established names in poker, followed by supper for attendees.
PokerStars Ambassadors Marle Spragg and Jennifer Shahade are among those scheduled to contribute. Tech entrepreneur and Octopi Poker co-founder Victoria Livschitz will also be involved in the study sessions.
The weekend then finishes with the main tournament on Sunday:

Kerryjane Craigie to Host Ladies Weekend
PokerStars Ambassador Kerryjane Craigie will host the London event and said the aim is to bring together women who enjoy poker while creating opportunities to learn and compete.
“Ladies Weekend is about bringing women who love poker together to learn, compete and have a brilliant weekend around the game,” Craigie said. “We’ve got three days of poker and some fantastic women sharing their experience and knowledge, and I can’t wait to welcome everyone to The Hippodrome.”
Craigie also highlighted the addition of the WCOOP route into the live event.
“I’m especially excited that we’re bringing WCOOP into it this year. Giving the top three finishers in the Women’s World Championship the chance to join us in London feels like a perfect fit.”

The crossover between WCOOP and Ladies Weekend gives PokerStars a neat bridge between its online and live poker communities. A player can effectively turn a strong Sunday session into a seat at The Hippodrome less than a month later.
